Jamie had a business meeting this morning super early, and I'm shocked, but Sean slept in until around 8 am or so. At that point, I brought him into my bed with me, (Jamie was already up and getting read for his meeting) so he took over Jamie's side of the bed. We slept in - would you believe - until almost noon today! He's just like his mommy - loves to sleep in! (Though, he likes to sleep in only in my bed. Not his crib). He's officially in his big boy room, and well, so far so good. The sleep in this morning - recharged my batteries. Each week as I get on in this pregnancy just get harder and harder. My energy is being sucked both by growing a baby and as well, chasing after Sean. I find myself staying on one floor of the house, the stairs are even more of a drain, so I try to avoid them as much as possible. I honestly cannot wait until Mackenzie's born and I'm carrying him on the outside rather than in my belly. I have a hunch that I will be doing a LOT of baby wearing with Mackenzie! I can't wait to pull out the baby carriers/wraps.

Today one of Jamie's co-workers came to pick up the washer & dryer that came with the house we moved into. We finally were supposed to get our new washer & dryer installed in the new house. We've been living here since November and we didn't sell the washer & dryer fast enough, so it kind of just sat in my laundry room, and my washer & dryer sat in the garage, in "Storage"...


Well, let's just say that the washer & dryer that we were getting rid of, DID NOT fit through the door. We had to take off the door frame to get the machines out. Since Jamie's co-worker was actually moving today, so he left, and Jamie & my dad (above) worked on getting the door frame off (which made a HUGE mess). Let's just say, that I can't wait for my new machines to be put into the laundry room tomorrow, and the door frame to be put back on. (That's my personal yarn stash hanging on the wall.... well some of it anyhow!) I got to use my own machines for about 3 months or so before we moved from the duplex here. I miss my machines!

Yes, the invasion of the cucumber. I accidentally planted 3-4 seeds per pellet. My reasoning behind it? That at least 1 of the 3-4 would be a thriving plant and succeed in the garden. (Because some of my tomato plants died). Well, I need to find people who are planting a garden and want cucumbers.... because I have a lot of them planted! Any Montrealers interested?? I can't wait to start gardening in two weekends, and I'm slowly doing my research on what I need to do to prepare, etc.

So, I wrote an email back in 2005, yes, in June, it would be 3 years ago that I wrote this email:

- That is just insane that she finally emailed me. THREE YEARS LATER. Did she actually think that I'd be unemployed and desperate to work for a magazine? I got a good chuckle out of this email. I'm sure one day I'll go back to photography/graphic design and use my degrees (I have a degree in both photography and graphic design), just not right now.

Well, the Habs season is officially over. We lost tonight, even though we played what I thought a great game. (Until the end).... Well, there's always next year. Congrats to the Flyers - you knocked us out - may you go all the way.... (I'm supposed to take down the Habs flag asap, according to the hubby)....!

I got some knitting tonight done on Judy's Grandmother's Baby Sweater. I'm absolutely loving the way it's coming out. I'm hoping it will be 6 month size, though it seems to me that it may be a little bit bigger than 6 month size. It's so hard to tell with baby clothing if it's exactly a certain size. Because even baby clothing can not be the same from one company to the next. All I'm hoping is that it will fit Mackenzie at some point during the winter. Though, living in Montreal, we have two seasons, winter & summer, so I'm sure he'll get plenty of use out of it!

My (braxton-hicks) contractions are getting harder and more uncomfortable. Mackenzie is WAY more active in my belly than Sean was. There is never a dull moment with this baby - he lets me know he's in there. I did have a dream last night about Mackenzie, being a newborn and what he (maybe) will look like. The dream seamed so real. I have a hunch he'll look just like his brother did as a newborn, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Sean's eyes are still blue, and his hair, still golden blonde! I'm sure the summer sun will lighten Sean's hair as well.
