I finally sewed on my buttons & weaved in the ends last night, for my Favorite Cardigan. Now that the weather has significantly dropped, I am excited to be wearing my new sweater. (I wore it all day today). I used about 5.5 skeins of Tanis Fiber Arts Aran weight Green Label in We Wear Red that I picked up at Pick Up Sticks in Newmarket, Ontario. I made some changes to the pattern by making the sleeves full length and widening the front panel to compensate for my bust size. I made it on a 4.5 mm needle. It was seamless, which was great, the sleeves were done by putting the stitches on hold until I was done with the body, and then the stitches are put back on the needles and finished.
I am absolutely in love with it, and I plan to wear it to death.

So, so very pretty. Love the color and it looks great on you:) good Job! :) write on time for the cold weather season :)
Looks great - beautiful colour and the fit is perfect. Very impressed. Am making my 4th attempt at the Miriam cardigan (ravelry) and have finally cast on Colour Affection. Thanks for the inspiration! My goal is to finish the sweater so I can wear it for the One of a Kind Show in November. No reason. It's just a night out I look forward to. Girl's gotta have a goal ;) Enjoy your cosy cardigan now that Fall has settled in.
I love the buttons and how it funkily buttons to the side rather than down the middle. Good job!
Yay! It looks great, how good it must feel to have it finished.
I was already impressed that you sewed buttons. (Buttons are a personal problem lately)
It looks great! I love that you love it, because it is the best to be able to wear something you worked so hard on!
Beautiful! I love the colour!
:) Love it. I'm all over seamless cardis now too.
Wow! I'm in love with that sweater, too.
I love your cardigan! It's a great color and it fits you very nicely. The off center buttons give it a wonderful design element too. Nice work, my friend.
