Yesterday I cut off 13” of my hair. It was long overdue. I grew my hair out for my sister’s wedding which was in August, as you can cut longer hair but you cannot make hair longer as I didn’t know until last minute what I wanted to do with my hair for the wedding. I grew it out for about 2+ years or so, if I remember correctly. It got ridiculously long and it was feeling heavy and it was always getting in the way. So yesterday, the kids and I all got a haircut. I decided since I had enough hair, to donate it to the Pantene program that uses hair to make wigs for cancer patients. My hair is packaged up and ready to be mailed, I just need to get to the post office. I feel so much better with shorter hair and as a working mom of 3, it’s so much more manageable now!

Whoa! That's great. I bet you are able to manage it a lot better. It looks great!
Good for you for donating it!
I can't imagine my hair not long ... no muss, no fuss.
So much hair! I'm sure you felt like a huge weight was taken off your shoulders when you chopped it all off. ;)
