Wearwithall : Knits for your life

IMG_9574
I recently received a copy of Wearwithall : Knits for your Life in the mail. (Non-Ravelry Link). I was given a copy to review & a copy to giveaway to one of my lucky readers! (Details at the end of the post about the giveaway)
After checking out every pattern in the book, I’ve come up with my 6 favorite patterns.
First is the mittens pattern. I absolutely love the design on them. Very modern & chic.

I like that the hats pattern can be modified for a man or woman. The women’s version really intrigued me as I’ve been looking for a nice slouch hat pattern recently, and I think this one will do the trick.

This Cable Scarf and Cowl is absolutely stunning. I love how thick & chunky it is. I’m thinking this will be a quick knit, regardless if it’s made as a cowl or longer scarf.

This baby sweater and tunic are just too cute. I love that it’s unisex as well. After making the baby shell pattern twice, with this fantastic open neck, this pattern is right up my alley. I love how this type of neck allows space for a baby’s head to pull through easily.
Lastly, I love both the toddler's cardigan and the woman's cardigan. I love a simple button down cardigan. They both look easy to knit up.
There are some other great patterns in this book, 13 in total. This is one of those books, that I have several projects in it that I’d actually make, so it’s a great book in my eyes. If you’d like to win a copy of this book, all you have to do to get up to 3 entries:

1 – Leave a comment on this post telling me what you’re currently knitting or crocheting.
2 – Come stop by my new Facebook Group, Knit & Purl Mama, and join, then come back & leave me a comment that you’ve done so.
3 – Stop by Knit & Purl Mama’s Facebook page to stay informed of what’s going on by liking our new page!
You have until next week, Saturday, June 9th to enter, at the end of the evening and I will draw a name on Sunday, June 10th for the winner.

Hey Robyn! I have a lot to catch up on! My husband is traveling, I'm back at work part-time, and mostly, I don't know if I'm coming or going. The weather has been strange on top of it all! I haven't knit in quite awhile, but I have several projects in my basket waiting to be finished. And you know, I'm sort of a craft pack rat, so another knitting book might be a lovely addition to my shelf... Facebook is being glitchy at this moment, and I don't have the patience for it, but I *will* like your page the next time I can remember.

I have a lot to catch up on! My husband has been traveling, I started work part-time again, and I hardly know if I'm coming or going! On top of that, the weather has been so unpredictable! And I hear we're in for a rainy week! Anyway, thanks for the giveaway and the knitting inspiration.

Hey Robyn! Great giveaway...the book looks amazing. I am quite smitten with the mittens :) Right now, I am making Fiddlehead mittens with a Tanis Fiber Arts kit and am about halfway through making a Pine Forest baby blanket for a neighbour who is expecting her first baby.

I have been knitting up some baby items for a friend of mine, getting some terrible news about my dental problems & all-in-all trying to not get depressed about it all.

I read your blog often.

Hi, Robyn, I am currently knitting some IBH's Toasty Socks with some sock yarn, just not sure what kind since my dog chewed off the label going after the skein. So far, no snags!

I love the concept of the Wearwithall book and the patterns seem fantastic! A great collection.

Aaaaanyway, that pattern booklet looks awesome!
Currently I'm not knitting anything. Gasp! I need to start another project asap. I'm thinking of starting on something for me this time. Maybe the linen-stitch scarf?
