We've had such a bad summer (weather wise) for garden produce. Our cucumbers haven't been doing well at all (we've had 1 so far all summer), our spinach didn't make it, neither did some of our beans. (Also, my fault, I let the radish stay too long in the ground, as we got busy/distracted and didn't pick it, and those weren't good anymore either). We did get lettuce though, all throughout June and July. But we didn't have any tomatoes or cucumbers to go with it to make a salad unfortunately. We're finally now getting some beans, a LOT of the larger variety of tomatoes (I'm thinking about making sauce very soon!) and the cherry tomatoes are coming too. We certainly do not have as many zucchinis and cherry tomatoes as we did last summer, unfortunately. Here's to hoping for some more growth before the summer is through. How's your garden growing?

My husband just asked me the other day what I thought about us putting a garden in... obviously it's too late now, but maybe next year!
Bummer about some of your garden. What you have looks pretty delicious though. Here in AZ, no garden for us, one day when we move I will try again LOL! In the meantime I get CSA baskets and freeze the produce from them. Just finished some brussel sprouts and Hatch chilis.
Your vegetables look very healthy. Our garden is doing good, but I have to say we also didn't have the same abundance as we have had in the past. We got lots of zucchini here and I made zucchini bread last weekend. I'll try to post some pictures. Hope your garden lasts a little longer since we had such a late start :)
I usually have a couple tomato plants on our terrace. I didn't bother this year.
I am so frustrated with my garden! It's been so dry here, and I haven't kept up with the watering, not that it would matter much anyway. Two of my pepper plants have gotten something, and my main tomato plant produces tomatoes that have black areas on the bottom of each of them. It happens way before they ripen, and I tired ripening indoors, and they molded! Ugh. I'm ready for fall and a good frost!
well, it was still a bountiful summer for you! :)
Your cucumbers did better than mine which isn't saying much seeing as mine got eaten before they really got started. The sunshine this month has been very good for the tomatoes!
