Tonight, at bedtime, this was my conversation with Sean:
Me: "What book should we read tonight?"
Sean: "I don't know."
Me: "How about Madeline loves Animals?"
Sean: "No, that book gives me nightmares. How about the one with the Pigeon and the hot dog?"
So we read The Pigeon Finds a Hotdog.
Uhm... nightmares? What on earth is he talking about.

I loved reading with my boys when they were little. Brings back memories. One of their favorites was "Wump World" by Bill Peet. Have your boys read that one?
