april twenty-four

Amy worked until noon today, and then shortly there after, I picked her up, and we loaded the car and started to make our way to Toronto. We had to stop for drive through (Harvey's! Yum!) and to get gas, and then finally got on the road to Toronto. (Not really sure where there is an inch of space in the car, it's unbelievable what you have to pack to go away for the weekend with a baby!)

Mackenzie was all set in his new car seat, as he has outgrown his baby bucket, and was all smiles.

Our first stop was in Mallorytown, in the 1000 Islands of Ontario. I wanted to make a hand delivery, and it was about 2 and a half hours from Montreal in this quiet little area. It was quite nice. Though, I have to admit, I'm a city girl through and through.

Our next stop was at Michaels in Kingston. Yep, a must needed stop. Kingston was another half hour or so from Mallorytown. Mack was super happy to get out of the car for a bit.

He even wanted to try on silly hats. How cute.

I didn't find the original item that I was looking for, but did walk out with other stuff on my list. Found some other stuff as well that was NOT on my list. Isnt' that always the case with a craft store? It's really too bad that there are no Michaels in Quebec. It's certainly on my wish list for there to be a Michaels closer. Oh well - when their new yarn department is open this summer, I'll have to either take a drive to one of the ones in Ottawa, or visit the one in Kingston again. We'll see which one. (Ottawa is 1 hour and 45 minutes or so away and Kingston's 3 hours... just depends on what else is going on and where I want to go and who is coming with me.)

We finally headed back on the road close to 5 pm. A tad later than we wanted. We didn't realize what time it was while in Michaels. Whoops. All good. Not as if we had a set time to be in Toronto or anything, but we did have dinner plans with my friend and her husband, whom we are staying with here.

Mack got restless about an hour out of Toronto and hungry for dinner. Since I was then in the passenger's seat (I drove until almost Kingston, and then Amy drove the rest of the way), I was able to take off the headrest of my seat, and half turn around and feed Mack peas while my sister drove. Wow, what a challenge that was. But the kid was crying for dinner (I don't blame him) and we weren't stopping just yet.

Finally we got into Toronto, and even had to exit on a street named Major Mackenzie Drive! I'm sure if Mackenzie were older he'd have gotten a kick out of the street name! I sure did. Doesn't take much to amuse me though!

We got in around 7:30pm to my friend Miriam and her husband Zvi's house, in a new area of Toronto that is being built up near Canada's Wonderland (she's literally around the corner from Canada's Wonderland). They just moved in 2 months ago, and offered us a place to stay, but in the 2 extra bedrooms they have upstairs, they do not have any furniture, so since my mother has these foldable fouton matresses, we brought them with us to sleep on. I brought the pack'n'play for Mack to sleep in and that's all we needed.

We then decided to go to the Pickel Barrel for dinner at Promenade Mall. I hadn't been there in maybe 8-10 years. I used to frequent that restaurant a lot when visiting friends in Toronto, but it had been a while since I'd been there. The restaurant was re-vamped, and looked really nice. The old restaurant was getting to be a little ghetto looking if it were still left the way it was the last time I'd been there.

Anyhow, then began our fabulous service. We were seated at our table and then our waiter came and took our drink orders. Then the hostess brought the drinks over, put down the tray of drinks on the table, and said “I'm just the hostess” and walked off. So we were supposed to serve ourselves the drinks? And tell the difference between diet and regular soda, etc?

Then my friend Dave joined us. I had seen him the last time he came into Montreal (he used to live in Montreal, and we've been friends for almost 15 years). He is now living in Toronto working in the financial industry and single (any single (Jewish) ladies in the Toronto area?) The waiter brought him a menu, and Miriam & myself our salads that came with our meals, and we asked for cutlery since none of us had. He must have misunderstood because he brought over 1 set, for Dave who had just arrived, I guess thinking that he was the only one who didn't have. It was just weird, because Miriam & I already had food sitting in front of us and the waiter was just staring at us blankly like he had no idea what was going on. Apparently, the "I'm just the hostess" hostess, was supposed to bring menus and cutlery as that is her job.

After a mediocre dinner (I didn't really enjoy the greasy salmon on pasta dish I ordered off the healthy menu...) we all headed back to Miriam's house to hang out. We watched Say Yes To The Dress and made fun of chicks trying to find their wedding dresses. Too funny. I'd never seen that show before.

And now it's time for bed. We have a big (and early) day tomorrow! See you at Frolic?

april twenty-three

Today I spent doing chores around the house, and one of the items on my "to-do" list was to put my plants from the little greenhouse and move each seedling into larger pots with more earth, to help their growth. Also - they now need sunlight (the first week they are in a dark cool place in the closed greenhouse). I have a few plants that will be going to friends, as I always have extra plants, as I want to make sure that they will sprout and stay alive. (Some do die for whatever reason that they do).

Another thing on my to-do list was to fix my boots after washing them, and putting them away for the summer. The zippers had broken on both of them, and I had been using paper clips to pull them up and down all winter. I love these boots and did not want to have to buy a new pair. Simple solution, at Walmart I found zipper clips! They work perfectly! And my boots, washed from the winter salt (which is nasty by the way!) are looking great! And now I don't have to buy new boots this upcoming winter when I have boots that I love.

Tonight I went out to the West Island Knit/Crochet night. We ended up going to Chenoy's for a change of pace tonight, and once again the service there was just mediocre. I don't think they like us knitters. I was the first one to arrive and of course, I over heard one waiter to another say "Oh, it's that group of knitters again".... what the heck is that supposed to mean? We eat, we pay for our food and we're not loud. We're just regular customers. I don't get it. I worked on my Log Cabin Squares for the bridal shower gift I'm knitting with Amy & Jenn. It's coming along, and the squares have to be finished for next Tuesday. I can do it!

april twenty-two :: Earth Day

Today as I put on one of Sean's shows that he watches on PBS Kids, I was SHOCKED to see this birthday up on the screen. This is the boy, Mackenzie, whom our Mackenzie was named after, who drowned in 2006. I am not sure if this was an old recording or if PBS just uses the same birthdays year after year? It was just weird. There is a fundraiser next week that Jamie and I are deciding if we will be going. We really want to go, it's just a matter of a few things that are making the final decision.

I got some exciting mail today, from Bea! She sent me some yarn, and some leftover tidbits for my Sock Blanket Project (which I plan to get cracking on once my deadlines are over). The yarn she sent me was her own handpaint in Yarn Pig Silk Sock in the Colorado Colorway. Thanks so much Bea - I love it!

I also got in the mail today in honor of Earth Day, a recyclable tote bag from Green Couch Designs, my friend Cynthia's company! It's super cute, and good for the earth! I plan to take it with me on my next shopping trip!

Isn't the design just fabulous??

Tonight, the Habs were eliminated from the playoffs. Boston made a clean sweep and have won the last 4 games. Tonight's score was 4-1. Since I went to the Habs game on Monday night with my mom, I told Jamie he could go out tonight to watch the game at a friend's house and I moved West Island Knits/Crochet to tomorrow night. Instead, I stayed in and did work. By the time I put both kids to sleep, I had turned on the game for a minute and we were actually winning 1-0. But that score obviously didn't last very long. Too bad. I was hoping we'd have a chance in our 100th year. Oh well, there's always next year.

Hope you all had a very nice Earth Day, and are doing things to change the way we all live by making this world a cleaner place.

april twenty-one :: 44 weeks old

Mack is 44 weeks old today.

I was stuck home most of the day today waiting for FedEx, so I spend some time in the kitchen dying yarn. It's so much fun, I'm loving it. There are some new techniques that I would love to learn, but for now, it's just great. I am really loving it, and having a lot of fun. It's just great to begin with to play with color and yarn at the same time.

This afternoon upon picking up Sean from daycare, I took both boys with me to the local pharmacy. The carts are really small, so Sean sat in the big part and Mack went into the child seat part. They were so cute together, Sean was making Mack giggle. Oh, I love their laughter together.

This is a phot of my new camera, which I got which was just for the body. It's super cute and it's blue. I really didn't care what color it came in, but it was the last one left. The battery is currently being charged and I cannot wait to use it. I honestly don't know what I would have done without a pocket camera. So super happy of the good deal I got on it.

This evening I caught up on some TV shows with Jamie, and worked on the Log Cabin Blanket as there is a deadline for it. The Bridal shower is the weekend after next, but after it's all knitted up we still have to seam it together, and possible add or border and/or a backing. More details on that to come.

april twenty

This morning at the nutritionist's office, I was still down 24.2 lbs. I think I may have plateaued and if so, we'll see next week, then we'll be making a bit of changes to my daily meal plan for the time being to kick start my metabolism. It's that last 10.8 lbs that's a bitch...Why is it always the last ten pounds?

Do you remember about 10 months ago I was talking about a baby boy named Mackenzie that was born on my birthday, that was across the hall from me at the hospital? (Or that I thought was across from me at the hospital, but then was confused because there was also an orderly at the hospital whose last name was Mackenzie?). Well, in the above (and a few below picture(s), meet Mackenzie! Mackenzie got to meet Mackenzie, one day older than him. He was at our playgroup today. His mom is friends with a mom in my playgroup. And they're both Mackenzies with "C" last names. Though my Mackenzie is Mackenzie Riley, hers is Mackenzie Alexander. And her in-laws are friends with my grandmother. Small world.

They had a good time playing together, Mackenzie squared.

Mackenzie also had fun playing with some of his other friends, like Max.

Afterwards I ran some errands with my mom, and did you know that you can now get a whole wheat bun on your grilled chicken sandwich at Harvey's? I was sure that's what was on it a while ago when I was there with Jamie, but the girl at the counter had no idea, so she couldn't confirm it. This makes me happy. I wonder if I can get a different burger with the whole wheat bun as well? Maybe you can ask for it?

So our first stop was to Canon, with my camera (Elph SD1000) that was giving me "Lens Error, Please restart camera"... Well, there's physical damage. Not sure how, because as you can see I was keeping it in the "soap dish travel case" and so it was protected by a hard case. The guy told me that I can fix it, but that it would be about 150$ plus taxes. He then suggested to me that it's cheaper to buy a new one.

Well.... here's some fantastic news...!

I was at Walmart shortly after with my mother (I needed some gardening things for my seedlings to transplant them into pots as they are getting way too large) and we met my grandmother there. By chance, I decided to look in the electronics department, and they happen to have the SD1100 on sale for 178$. So I was thinking, alright, a brand new camera with a brand new warranty for only about 28$ more than what it would have cost me to fix my camera that was from 2007. (I got it when Sean was about 8 months old).

So, it turns out that the demo is the last one left. Okay, no problem, and the 178$ is the "demo" price. So I say "No problem, I'll take it..."

So the girl in the electronics department has to call the chick from the photo lab because she has to get the key for the demo security and to get the box and all the stuff for the camera.

The girl comes over, she has the box, but no battery, and no memory card that comes with it.

So I start to think... it's the same battery & card (which I bought a larger card anyhow for my SD1000) and I ask her... "What price can you give it to me for, if I just buy the body"....

40% off.

(That's totally more than I was expecting!) So I took it.

I still have 14 days with Walmart, and then 1 year with Canon. And now I got a working camera for less than what I would have paid to get mine fixed.

What a good deal! And I tested out my battery in the store before I left, it's the same one for both cameras, so it's perfect.

What a good deal! And now I have a working pocket camera. (Can't always take my Rebel with me everywhere).

Tonight I went with my mother to the 3rd playoff game between the Habs and Boston. We unfortunately lost 4 - 2, but I still had fun at the game, and I still got to work a bit more (still not done) my Go Habs Go sock.

I love this HUGE flag that was going around the Bell Center, it was pretty darn neat.

I have 2 completed Log Cabin squares to show you for the blanket I'm knitting with Amy & Jenn. It's coming along. I hope to have it done soon, though this week seems to be another busy week, but we're running out of time, and so I hope to get all my squares done asap!

april nineteen :: 120 weeks old

Sean is 120 weeks old today.

The four of us went out to Dunn's for lunch today. Jamie hadn't been to eat there (only take out not too long ago) so we decided to check it out today.

Everyone enjoyed their meal, and Mackie got to try French Fries for the first time. No surprise, he loved them. I am pretty sure it was around 9-10 months old that Sean first tried a French Fry, so I thought it was about time. Plus, really, it's potato, and Mack's had potato before, just in puree form. I figured he could put his 3/8ths of a tooth to work! He kept wanting more!

But how can I say no to this adorable face?

The boys took a nap at the same time this afternoon - oh wow, was that excellent, and Jamie and I just kind of took some alone time in the house, doing whatever it is we had to take care of (he was probably playing video games, I'm sure).

This evening we went to my parents house for dinner, and I enjoyed some nice Talapia steamed. It was really good. The boys got to see my dad's parents, who came for dinner, which was nice for them to see them, as we do not see them often.

Tonight I sat on the couch, worked on the Log Cabin Blanket and watched Desperate Housewives. I cannot believe they killed off Edie....! I was not expecting that. I heard a rumor somewhere that she wanted off the show. Sometimes I liked her on the show and sometimes I hated her. Depends on how evil her character was each episode. It'll definitely be interesting without her.

On another note, I can now run a full 2 and a half minutes on the treadmill at 7.0 speed. This is an accomplishment! (From someone with mild asthma and is just getting back into the exercise thing!) I'm very proud of myself. I'll usually do the run somewhere near the end of my session on the treadmill, giving myself at least a 5 minute cool down afterwards before getting off. And still the first 10 minutes are always the HARDEST. Ugh! But once you get passed the first 10 minutes, it's a breeze. Unless you're walking really slow, then the first 10 minutes really doesn't matter....

april eighteen

I woke up this morning to Sean screaming "Sean did potty! Sean did potty!". He was running around the top floor of our house nude. He was so proud of himself. I thought Jamie was with him, and when Jamie came upstairs, he thought I had been with him. However, I was still under the covers fast asleep when Sean undressed himself, diaper and all, and used the potty. All by himself! And didn't get a drip on the floor! I am so proud of him!

This afternoon Jamie took Sean to stand in line (2.5 hours wait!) to get some stuff autographed by Jean Béliveau. He played for the Montreal Canadiens for 20 seasons (1952-1971), winning the Stanley Cup 10 times.

Here he is signing the 2 pictures that Jamie got today. We now need to find 2 frames to get them on our wall. We don't want to laminate them, so we'll find some nice frames.

This evening we dropped the kids off at my parents house and then Jamie and I went out for dinner to our fave place in the city, Cucina. We were so excited to go out and have super and were terribly disappointed with the horrible service we got! It seemed that they were a little under staffed, but the restaurant was NOT packed at all. Maybe it was just our luck. I did enjoy my fave dish there (Linguini Rossi Primavera) and at the end of the meal Jamie & I shared a piece of cheesecake (and boy was it soooo darn delicious). Diet aside, sometimes you just need to enjoy life a little! A little cheesecake ain't going to ruin anything, now will it? Nope!

It was nice though, aside from the bad service, to go out with Jamie without the kids. We don't get to do it often, so it was super nice. We talked about a possible vacation this summer with the boys, and I have to look into a few things, but we're thinking about going somewhere, but staying within Canada. The exchange rate is so disgusting, and it's just not worth crossing the border, plus there are plenty of provinces in Canada that neither of us have yet explored. I think it'll be fun!

We came home and after putting the boys to bed, we finished watching the Habs game, and unfortunately another disappointing loss tonight, with a nasty loss of 5-1 for Boston. I think both the goalie and the players are to blame. No one is getting goals, there is no defence when the puck's in our zone and also, Price is letting in WAY too many goals. They need to come together as a team. Really! Wake up boys! We can't let Boston win!

april seventeen :: ten months old

Mack is 10 months old today. 10 months. Wow. 2 more months until his 1st birthday. I still don'tunderstand how the last 10 months flew by so fast... and it seems like it's just going faster and faster and faster as the weeks, months, go by.

I ran some errands today and while I was out, I picked up this Pink Habs flag. So now I've got "his" and "hers" flags on my car. Let's just hope they win tomorrow night!

Tonight, for the first time we put the two boys into the bath together. It was actually not bad to give both boys a bath together at the same time! I think that is what we'll do from now on at bath time. Saves time! Though, Sean's a little rough and all he wanted to do was pour water all over Mack with the bucket. Mack kept getting annoyed, and I don't blame him.

I got an early birthday gift from Jamie. It's this lovely bracelet. I love it. It's just perfect. I wonder how he knew I wanted it (LOL). (Ok, ok, I picked it out!) Now I just need somewhere to dress up to and wear it! It's not an everyday bracelet, though I wish I could wear it everyday.

I've been using the treadmill almost every day. I've been very good at what I've been eating. Though, the scale didn't change from this Wednesday (I'm still down 24.2 lbs), apparently I've gained half an inch everywhere all over my entire body. Now, it's not the usual girl (nutritionist) who measured me today (the usual girl went to the Cabane a Sucre with her son today), so I'm wondering if I'm bloated (water retention) or if I've seriously gained back half an inch all over my entire body. I guess we'll see next Friday when I go back, I want the regular girl to do my measurements. I think I'm going to make sure that she does my measurements every Friday from now on.... only makes sense. Argh. Frustrating. Really.

Off to go veg on the couch, watch some TV and knit.

april sixteen

I've been keeping my "pocket" camera in a soap travel dish, to protect it. I saw this idea in a magazine some time ago. You'd think it would be a good solution.

Until you keep getting "LENS ERROR, RESTART CAMERA".... well... you restart it, over and over again, and keep getting this message. I've googled this, bloggers say that when they've gottent his error, they went straight to Canon. So, Canon is now on my list. Thank heavens there is a service center about 15-20 minutes from my house. I will put visiting them on my list of things to do, and make it a point to get there within the next week or so. (I am dying without my little pocket camera working. I can't take my Canon Rebel (DSLR) with me everywhere I go. Hence the need for a tiny camera as well).

Today was a work from home day. I had a lot to do, and a lot of things to catch up on. Mack did very well in the napping department, and had a nice afternoon nap, allowing me to get done my work, which always helps.

I am totally addicted to Jason Mraz's album called We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things. It's soooo good. My fave two songs are I'm Yours, and also Lucky (Featuring Colbie Caillat). Oooh, I can listen to those two songs over and over again.

Tonight was game one of the first round of the Playoffs for the Habs. Unfortunately we're in 8th spot, so we're playing Boston who is in 1st spot. Last year it was the opposite. We were in first and they were in eigth. I watched the game tonight with Jamie, while working on the Log Cabin Bridal Shower Squares (knitting after our guests left), and we unfortunately lost 4-2. Saturday night is the next game, so we'll see how we do. Last year we beat them to second round, but it took all 7 games. Hopefully we have a chance this year. We'll see what happens.

We also had Jamie's friend Jamie over tonight with his wife and their 2 kids for a bit. They came into town for Passover holidays and Jamie hasn't seen him in ages. Actually the last time we saw them was about 5 years ago, when their almost 6 year old was under 1! They come in for Passover every year (except last year) as Jamie's parents live around the corner from my parents. They're out in Alberta now. It was really nice to see them, and Sean enjoyed playing with Jerry who is only 9 months older than him. They played very well together the 2 of them. I was telling Jamie that it is really too bad they don't live closer as the kids played nicely, and they're a friends who are a couple that it would be nice to double date with once and a while.

april fifteen

I think there is a virus on my computer, Jamie said he'd take a look at it this evening when he gets home and fix the issues (if he can). There are pop up windwows everywhere and they're driving me mental.

I went to the nutritionist again this morning, (as well as quickly yesterday morning as they were closed Monday due to Easter weekend) and I'm officially down 24.2 lbs (yesterday I was down 23.8 lbs at weigh in). Only 10.8 more to go to reach my goal! I can smell the finish line. I can also smells foods I've been avoiding during the weight loss period!

Sean decided to tell me this morning on the way to daycare that he "no like school" and that he didn't want to go. Like he has a choice. Of course he loves school, but everything these days is "Sean no like.... this or Sean no like ... that!" Funny kid! He'll even tell you he "no likes haw-haws" (hotdogs - which are his FAVE!) Or that "Sean no like Caillou"... yeah right. He's obsessed with Caillou!

Today I met up with Jenn at Ariadne's for the mom & baby knit thing.

Jenn took silly pictures of me, pretending to have a DPN mustache. Oy, the silliness!

I also received a copy of Vogue Knitting that someone had left there. (Thank you ladies!)

And finally saw in my hands, for real, the blurb about me & my shop in there! How cool!

Mack was as cute as always, and had a good time as well while there. He actually gave me some time to knit! I won't complain!

I tried on their store model of the February Lady Sweater, which was knit up in Vermont Organic Fiber Company O-Wool Classic by Jo. I am dying to cast on for this sweater, but I wanted to make sure it fits. I totally thought it was a size M, but according to Ravelry Jo made the size S. I think I'll totally be okay with the size S, if I get the same gauge that Jo did for this one. I plan on using Dream in Color Classy in Happy Forest, which has been marinating in my stash for quite some time. Just need to find the time...!

I think the size S fits me very well!

I also bought some yarn while I was there, some Lorna's Laces Swirl DK in Charcoal to make the Jane Crossover Sweater. I wanted to use Mirasol Hacho, which Ravelry claims to be DK, but I couldn't get gauge with several sizes of needles. I have 8 skeins, 1200 yards, which should be enough for the M/L sweater. I hope I get gauge.

And I feel in love with this orange yarn, by Drops Fable in color 43.

I left Ariadne early to go drop Mack off at my parents house and then go to a spa near my place for a Spa Jet & Exfoliation that both Tara & Kate-the-Enabler got for me as a birthday gift/Mack's birth last year.

Now, after I get a manicure and pedicure that I have booked for the Friday of the weekend of my cousin's wedding in June, I won't ever be going back there. Very snobby and rude. I do not recommend going there. Maybe it was because I wasn't wearing Gucci clothing and Jimmy Choo shoes, but the staff weren't so nice. (The girl who did the exfoliation before the spa jet was really nice though).

First the girl who saw me at the receptionist told me that my gift certificate was not valid because it has a tear on it. I told her to look it up in her computer, it had never been used. She gave me a dirty look.

I was also told that it would all take an hour and a half. I was in and out of there in less than an hour. The spa jet was supposed to be 30 minutes, but was only 20. I think it took the girl longer to put the exfoliating cream on my body. (Which felt great like a massage though).

The Spa Jet was disappointing. Yes it was relaxing but when it starts up, even though it's set to a warm temperature, it started off by cold water, cuz that's what happens when you turn on a tap. Holy heck was it cold.

Then it wasn't hard at all, the water pressure. I thought it would be harder jets and it would feel more like a massage. I was relaxed, but maybe I had higher expectations of what was going to happen?

Then after it was done, I was told I owe 16$ and change. (This was after I tipped the massage girl who did the exfoliation). I was like "for what". They said for the Spa Jet & Exfoliation. I was like "I had a gift certificate". They were like "but the price has changed" and I was like "Read your policy, your price is guaranteed for 1 year from the date on the gift certificate". Bastards. I swear I'm never going back there. (I'm even debating not using the manicure gift certificate that I got from my Aunt for my birthday last year), I have that bad of a foul taste in my mouth from this spa.

Though, I thank Tara & Kate for their gift, and I really did relax and enjoyed myself regardless the snobiness of the place. I made the most out of it! (My back and shoulders do feel great right now!)

This evening I went out with the West Island knits. We started off at Second Cup but then ended up at Rockaberry's. Some of us got hungry and Second Cup is limited on what they have as far as food. I had a good time, and worked on the squares for the Log Cabin that I'm making as a gift.

april fourteen :: 43 weeks old

Mack is 43 weeks old today.
To realize that his birthday is in 9 weeks... Holy!

I watched him climb up the stairs today. He did every one of them from the basement to our den level very well. I was impressed. He is no where near ready to go backwards down the stairs though. We'll save that for a while. I love the look he's giving me above "Ma, do you see what I'm doing?"

Today I had Madeleine come over and play with Mackie all afternoon (when he wasn't sleeping) so that I could prepare for the "booth" I had tonight at the Montreal Knitting Guild meeting. I really appreciate everything that Madeleine did for me today - one million times over, so thank you Mad!!

This was my little booth tonight at the guild meeting. I brought so much stuff I almost couldn't fit everything on the 2 tables they gave me. I had a lot of fun tonight (I wore my Robyn's Nest shirt that I had made last year before Rhinebeck) and sold some things!

And I even bought some yarn tonight. It's 15% Silk, 65% Merino, 20% Bamboo Fingering Weight Yarn from Cottage Crafts Angora. They had a booth at the Guild Meeting as well tonight. There is about 350 yards per skein, so I bought 2 just to be safe.

And the lovely Christine who also had a booth at the meeting tonight, gave me as a gift (how freakin' sweet of her?!) this tote bag above. She imports them and they are just awesome. I can't wait to use it. Thank you Christine!

I had a good day today, and now that the stress is over (from the sale), I can now breathe a little easier, though the rest of my week seems to be insanly busy. I'll blink my eye and it'll be Sunday night. Really.
