08.18.10

This morning I got up bright & early (way earlier than I normally do), while my hubby & the boys were still sleeping. Made sure to not wake anyone, I headed out the door. First stop was to the bank (because of course I spent my last bit of cash yesterday on lunch). Then to get gas (because of course my tank was empty, right?) and pick up a coffee for an acquaintance Crystal, (who is actually my sister’s boyfriend’s cousin), as she told me that if I came before she was done her shift in post-partum at the hospital I will be delivering in, then she will draw my bloods for me (routine pre-natal work up). She had mentioned that if I were going to go at 9 ish am as I’d originally planned, that I’d wait an easy 2 hours to get my blood work done. I was going today anyhow, but not until after lunch and there was no way I’d be able to fast from last night until this afternoon to do the blood work. This was just perfect. In exchange for a large double double, I got my blood work done without having a too wait (well, except for the vials for my blood) and was home by 7:50 am.

This afternoon I was back at the hospital for another Ultrasound.
I love seeing the baby!
He's just so cute.
Yep, 150% a 3rd boy!

Another boy, and this one has long legs! Look at those!
(He's upside down by the way)

Baby boy is absolutely healthy. I still have full placenta previa. Had it been posterior the doctor who came into help the ultrasound tech today because she wanted him to look at my condition, then he said it could have grown up my belly with the baby and moved. But because it's anterior, the chances are not so great. Looks like I'll be having a Csection regardless (which is fine by me, I was planning to have one anyhow). That's the least of my worries. I am indeed scared about what could happen because of the previa. I am not allowed lifting either boy anymore. Staying off my feet from now on, with just a bit of walking allowed. No more bending for no reason. It's going to be a fun 4 ish months. I will get through it.

My due date was moved up to December 25th, 2010, so I am currently as of today, 21 weeks and 4 days pregnant. My change date will now be Saturdays instead of Mondays (which was moved up from Tuesdays). Due date doesn't really matter anyhow, as I'll be followed closely by my doctor and the Csection will be scheduled.

Though, hubby & I cannot agree on a boy's name. Still looking for suggestions to help us come up with his name. (I swear we'll still be trying to agree when he's born, I bet!) But if you have great suggestions, please toss them over! We'll read everything.

Been working a bit on my Destroyed Cowl. Though my focus wasn't 100% today with everything that is going on. Kinda was a bit distracted today. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow and will get some knitting mojo back.

Glad to hear that baby boy is healthy.

My first son's name is Saul. We love it because it is classic but not common. I think you had said no biblical names, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

Well, you know I love the name Gabriel! If we have another boy, we are leaning toward Sebastian.

So glad he is looking adorable and healthy! Keep your hopes up! My placenta previa didn't move until 28 and a half weeks! And it was complete too.

Hope you're feeling good! I'm so excited for you! You are going to be one spoiled and pampered mama!

that video was SO awesome! thanks for sharing. I love post-its! Nice that you knew someone who could do your bloodwork for you without the long wait. what does that mean that your change dates are now Saturdays?

I realize it's going to be a difficult 4 months, but I say: try to stay calm and enjoy the rest. With 3 boys, you're definitely going to need it :)

I hope you've had better luck since this post in coming up with another boy's name.
