I think I've finally received all my birthday gifts, included ones that were mailed to me (blog post on that coming shortly), but the one gift that I got, that was on the top of my birthday want list - was my iPad 2. It arrived on Monday and I haven't stopped using it since. Love love love love love it. It was from my family, and they couldn't have picked a better gift. Thinking about knitting it a cozy, but haven't decided on what style I want. I did buy it a protective sleeve for now, so I've been using that, since it was inexpensive (you can see it in the right hand photo with the pink, white & purple polka dots). Do you have an iPad? Or iPhone even? Tell me what your fave apps are! I want to know what I need to get! I've already downloaded Kindle, Kobo, Facebook, Scrabble, Words with Friends, a weight converter (for when I take the kids to get weighed and they do it in Kg I can figure out the Lbs and Oz), a currency converter, The Weather Network and stuff like that. But games? Knitting apps? What apps can't you live without! Free & paid ones... tell me! I want to know.

Restaurant Story and Bakery Story are fun, if you get them i'm barbn...i have KnitMinder but have'nt done anything with it yet..Knitting Daily is a good one for some celtic music i have Celtic Sojourn that i listen too a lot :)
I don't have an ipad or iphone, but I do have an ipod and I ♥ Angry Birds!
Jealous. I really, really want one. But I can't justify the cost. Maybe for my birthday!
Want!! We have a first generation (1) - or rather Mike does - and we love it. I like awesome note (have it on my iPhone) and we love the Disney stories for the iPad. I also have two Monkey Preschool games on my phone for Evie and they are lifesavers when we are waiting someplace.

Husband gave me one for our anniversary last month and I love the game Chuzzels. It is a $ game, but I have watched him playbit on his android phone for ages, so knew it was worth it. There is a great group about them on Rav and I have gotten some useful info there. I love the protective back I ordered so it doesn't get scratched but I can still see the engraving he had done.
