This morning we got to sleep in because the music ladies who sing in our music class and entertain us on Wednesday mornings are on their Spring Break with their kids. Though, we still had swimming this morning, so we headed out the door (thank goodness early) to our swim class. I say thank goodness early, because the snow removal guy didn't show up yet, so I figured that if I plowed my way down the driveway at full speed ahead, that I'd be able to make it out and not get stuck. Just as I'm halfway sticking out of my driveway a car comes around the circle that we live in (and because there is no stop sign in that direction I had to stop), getting myself stuck. It took me 20 minutes to shovel my way out of the driveway. I probably should not have been shoveling at almost 6 months pregnant, but I made sure to bed my knees so I wasn't hunched over and I also made sure to NOT use any stomach muscles. So much for the snow removal guy being at my place by 10:30 am to clean my driveway (by 3pm he finally showed up). There were 4 of us mommies with our babies in the Aqua Stroller class this morning, and the private class was very nice. Usually we're about 12 mommies & 12 babies (full class!).
After class I met Angela near the bus drop-off for the bus she took to get to me, and we headed back to my house for lunch, and an afternoon of chilling on the couch, tiring out Sean, and watching TV.
I received absolutely NO mail today. I'm wondering if it's because my stairs were covered in snow (though, that's NOT stopped my mailman before from delivering). I love getting mail. It's disappointing when I don't get any at all.
Hubby got home from work, took over watching the fort, and I headed out the door.
Oddly, ran into my parents getting onto the highway. They were heading out into the city as well. I was telling Angela in the car "Hey, that looks like my father's car...." Surely enough, it was... fluke!

Day five: Spent money on just dinner. That's okay because lunch cost me a whopping .41 cents (I had a box of Kraft Dinner from Costco).

Oh the Ye Olde Orchard Pub sounds like fun with the knitting girls! I'm working on 10 things in the house that haven't gotten used and so far nothing. Good thing I have a couple more days to figure this out because I'm doing the slow month like you so I can't fake it!!
looks like you had fun!
Sounds like you had a great day. Ok, dude didn't specify what size of sweater did he? Cause you could use your baby surprise jacket...unless you didn't start it there...and get free wings when you finish (or did he mean you had to start and finish the sweater in one night?).
haha. i was thinking the same thing as shelley--the guy didn't say what size the sweater had to be. you could've totally made a baby sweater or even a mini-sweater ornament for some free chicken wings! small world that you'd see your parents on the highway. ;)
You know, when I was pregnant with Maxime, I had this constant craving for something to drink that was fizzy but not sweet, like soda. It was only when I was done breastfeeding that I finally realized it was beer I had been craving all along!
