Today's mail was fun. It was the highlight to today, as I stayed in doing things today (went out for a little bit to run an errand while Mack napped in the bucket) so here's today's mail!

I also ordered 2 sets - yes - 2 sets (since they were on sale and I'm always running around looking for DPNS in the house (I unfortunately right now do not carry metal DPNS, only bamboo). I also got 2 sets in case I have 2 different socks on needles that require the same needle size, OR to knit both socks at the same time...! They'll come in handy. (I've already got yarn on one of the needles)! They're still on sale right now, for 19.99$ - if you'd like some too.

This morning I also finished the gift for 1 of Sean's 2 daycare teachers. Here's the specs.

Timeline: November 8 - 10, 2008.
Modifications: Followed pattern as published until the end. I didn't cast off and pick up stitches, I did k2tog across row and then continued on intead of binding off and picking up half the stitches with the yarn doubled. I don't think it really makes a difference either way.
Opinion: Love it! I can't wait to give it to Tirhu for Christmas. So warm & cozy!

Even the chunky buttons rock! I lvoe it. I cannot wait to give it to her!
