march fifteen :: 115 weeks old

Sean is 115 weeks old today.

I'm still trying to figure out ways to be creative so that Sean will look into the camera/stay still for our weekly self portraits in the mirror... one of these days he's going to tell me to "Stop It".... (He's already using those words, when he doesn't want you to be doing what you're doing).... Smart boy. Too smart for his own good.

Today was GORGEOUS outside, so after lunch we took both boys for a nice walk. We couldn't just sit inside when it was about plus 8 out. I was super excited to take out the Spring jackets!

Sean went into his stroller, which Jamie pushed today during our walk as I wanted to check out the jogging stroller that I recently got in a stroller swap.

And Mackie went (with Sophie v.2.) into the Graco Jogging stroller.

(Yes, I got Mack another Sophie. This one has his name on one foot. This one will NOT get lost. You should have seen his face when I opened the Sophie box and handed Sophie to him. He was super happy to have Sophie back. He loves that thing).

This is the jogging stroller. I have no idea what model it is, though I wish I could get an instruction manual for it (for a few of the features), but the person I got it from has no idea what model it is. She's had it for a number of years, so there is probably not luck in me getting any info, and it seems like Graco does not make the jogging stroller anymore. Not that I can see.

The walk was nice, it actually was good to get fresh air, and we were able to get both boys down for a nap as soon as we got back from the walk. Ahh, finally, some time to ourselves.

This evening we went to my parents house for dinner, and I enjoyed some fish while everyone else had some BBQ. I made the decision to have something healthier to not ruin what I've been working so hard to accomplish with my weight loss goal. It's hard though, to see your entire family eating hamburgers and hot dogs straight off the BBQ... but I am strong. I enjoyed my piece of Tilapia, and reminded myself that the BBQ will still be there in the summer after I've lost my weight. My goal is to lose the weight at approximetely 2 lbs per week, which will bring me to May 28th (ish). This is two weeks before both Mack's 1st birthday and my 28th birthday. I know I can do it, and I want to be able to buy a sexy outfit to wear to Mack's 1st birthday party (though, nothing "too" sexy that wouldn't be appropriate for a baby's 1st birthday, of course!)

After dinner we came home and put the kids straight to bed. Here's a self portrait of Sean & I in his bed. Sean, my little bugger gets me to read him 3 stories every night before bed. What started as one, is now three. I just can't resists his "one more book mommy, peas". Melts my heart every time!

Going to go plop my bum on the couch & start Desperate Housewives on my PVR. Dying to know who "kisses a girl"...! I think I'll grab some knitting too!

I'm was sitting here trying to figure out why bbq was that bad for you. That is until you said what bbq was. Its totally not hotdogs and hamburgers here. Fish is even part of BBQ here. I think we call what you describe as a cookout here. So it makes more sense now that its not so good for you. :)
