Today involved a lot of baking. (Nesting maybe?)
I started off with blueberry muffins.
I then started to bake some zucchini bread, but realized that my zucchini was bad.
So I decided to check if there was anything looming in the garden waiting to be picked.

And look what I found! 2 large zucchinis, 1 cucumber, 1 spaghetti squash, and 1 Lemon Boy Tomato. I couldn't believe that there was stuff ready out there, in October.
So everything went back on track for baking 2 zucchini breads.
This evening Tara came over to watch the first Habs game of the season. We finally got to sit down after putting the boys to bed and that was challenging at that. I think the boys were putting on a little show for Tara. Sean miracously fell asleep while Mackenzie continued to call out and disobey going to sleep. Eventually I gave in to his odd requests just so he'd sleep. Like for example, he wanted his sneakers on. So tonight, he's sleeping in his sneakers. I think he finally fell asleep around 10 pm, just as the Habs game was ending. We knit, drank beer (well, Tara did anyhow), and ate muffins & zucchini bread. It was a nice evening, once I finally got to sit back on the couch & relax.

Awesome! I added her to my blog roll.
I confess to feeling incredibly guilty about how... um... rambunctious they got when I got there! It was a great evening nonetheless (despite the Habs loss).
Your baking sounds yummy.
