Mack is 122 weeks old today.
He's quite the comedian.
Today marks my 5th blogaversary. I've been blogging daily (with the exception of being in the hospital in labor & postpartum) for 5 years now. I can't believe it's been 5 years. I absolutely love to blog, and it's thanks to all my loyal readers (and commenters!) In honor of my blog's 5th birthday, I have quite the giveaway for you! All you have to do is leave a comment on any post, between now & Halloween. You can leave as many comments as you want, and I will pick the winners on Monday, November 1st, 2010 for all these following amazing prizes:
- 2 lucky winners will win my entire Sock Collection in PDF format.
- 1 lucky winner will win a copy of Jennifer Lori's My First Superhero.
- 1 lucky winner will win a copy of the pattern of their choice in GlennaC's Raverly shop.
- 3 lucky winners will win a copy of a pattern of their choice from WoolyBearDesign's Ravelry shop.
- 3 lucky winners will win a copy of a pattern of their choice from Jane Richmond's Ravelry Shop.
- 4 lucky winners will win a copy of a pattern of their choice from Spillyjane's Ravelry shop!
- 3 lucky winners will receive a copy of the Gift Issue of KnitCircus.
- 1 lucky winner will receive a one year subscription to KnitCircus.
- 1 lucky winner will receive a copy of the novel Jessica Z. by Shawn Klomparens, which I recently reviewed.
Holy loot! What fun prizes! If you leave a comment and you are new to my blog or a first time commenter, make sure that you leave an email address where you can be reached, or your Ravelry ID. ENJOY!
My back pain has started to get worse. I really am excited to be finished with this pregnancy already. It's to the point now where it's getting hard to even sit on the floor with the boys and do puzzles with him, or play cars, etc. They want their mommy back, and I don't blame them. Though, I do have to admit, the back pain (lower back) is not as bad as the leg cramping. I think by far, that is worse.
Some yarn made it into my shopping basket when I went on a hunt for US 19 - 15 mm circular knitting needles today. I will show you that stash enhancement tomorrow (in need of daylight to photograph the yarn properly). I figure let me get the stash enhancement out of my system now. It has been a long year on my yarn diet, and I totally deserve to spoil myself a little for behaving this year. I will be using the US 19 needles for a project that I will be doing a KAL with my sister (she managed to convince me to get cracking on that project - which I will talk about shortly).
I did get a bit of knitting done on Loopy Lace Scarf, hoping to get that finished off as soon as possible. My queue on Ravelry keeps growing as I keep getting inspired by other people's projects. So much to knit, so little time.
Today’s Link Love:
- This cute bib tutorial.
- You can head over to send a free sample of Kleenex to a friend or family member. I understand this is actually a decent size sample so it might be worth requesting. I just sent a free box to my mom and “she” sent one back to me. I’ll let you know how it is when it arrives. I was informed we should have them in about 14 days.

Robyn - it's KTE, but I can't seem to log in properly this morning.
Happy Blogiversary :)
I'm sorry to hear about the back pain, and I totally get it about you wanting to be 'back' for the boys - the third pregnancy was a lot tougher on me physically as well - although I kept feeling like my pelvic basin was coming apart at the front!! Hang in there - you really are in the home stretch...and then you'll have a wonderful, cuddly, small, warm baby to enjoy ;)
Nice prizes! I'd love to win a pattern or magazine :)
Happy Blogiversary - 5 years is a long time to blog! But what a nice record for you to have of the daily goings on of your family :)
Happy Blogaversary! I'm so impressed that you've managed to blog daily for 5 years, that's quite the accomplishment! And yay for more stash enhancement! Bwaaaa-hahahahaha!!!
Happy Blogiversary!!!
Lucky me--I just fond your blog and your having a give away :)
Really lucky me because now I have something to look forward to reading each day.
Good luck with the back pain :(
Popped over here because someone in the Mtl Knits group on Rav was asking about buying Briggs and Little and I was going to recommend you. I'll tell her anyway in case she needs more when the shop reopens. Best wishes to you and another lovely baby!
Rats! Didn't give you my Rav ID for a lovely prize! It's jlrf.
Wow!! 5 years--congratulations!
And holy awesome giveaways!
(fingers crossed!)
I have enjoyed seeing the photos of your little guys as they grow up! I don't usually comment on blogs but I'm sure you enjoy hearing from your many readers. Of course, I would love to win something in your give away of wonderful things.
Fun times, Robyn! Yours was the first blog I ever read/followed (b/c of the knitting, but soon b/c of the cute family that followed). Congrats!

I must admit that I am a shameless lurker. I read your posts and devour your links like crazy, but I do it through a feeder. IZ LAZY! But I'm here and I love reading your posts daily. :D
Good luck with baby #3 and all those aches and pains.
daily for 5 years is impressive! I'm lucky if I can get a post out a couple times a week!
Happy 5th Blogiversary!!! What an accomplishment. How fun to have this record of your life.
Take it easy. You will be holding that beautiful little boy soon and the leg cramps and back pain will be distant memories.

I admire your dedication, I can't even blog once a month these days!
Happy 5 Year Blogaversary!
I love your blog. Keep posting! You are truly an inspiration. I don't know how you do it. A mom to almost 3 kids, a wife, you craft, work, knit, sew, maintain your house, keep on top of things...! What's your secret?
Keep doing what you're doing!
Nice prizes, wow. Love your blog have been reading for about 4 years. It is great to watch your boys grow up, they are way cute. I remember the leg cramps they are the worst for sure, thank goodness that doesn't happen until closer to the birth time. Glad to see you doing some stuff for yourself and making the most of any free moments you get. Best of luck with the birth and looking forward to seeing number 3. xo Margaret.
Wow, 5 years of blogging! That's truly impressive! Congrats!
Congrats on five years of blogging, it's been fun seeing the boys growing throughout the months. :)
Happy blog-anniversary ;-)) I love to come around and see what you and your family are doing. So much fun.
Happy Blogiversary! I've known you for 5 years-ish now I think too! (I'm a bit behind on your blog this week!)
Happy Blogaversary!!! Your blog is pleasure to read :)
Wow! Congrats on the big 5 years of blogging! Time flies!!! I'm looking forward to reading many more posts from you! :)
Happy Blog-anniversary!! Wow, 5 years is an awesome accomplishment. Keep it up, I love reading about your great knitting ideas and seeing your cute boys. I have two kids, 1 boy and 1 girl, I love to knit for them and take advantage of them being younger as I know that I probably won't be cool later. lol

Geez, five years? Congrats! I kept up a blog faithfully for about 3 years. Then life caught me. :) I do toy with starting again, but I have no idea when I'd fit it in!
HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY!
:dances around the blog:
I have enjoyed so much reading your blog! i have been following it for about 2-3 years now. i love that you always post! thank you for that!
Happy Blogaversary from the heart of Bavaria! I wish you all the best for the rest time of your 3rd pregnancy.

Happy 5 years!!! So sorry about the back pain. Almost there, almost there.
You'll be mad, but we found out that my friend Jessica who has a 10 year old and a 7 year old, both boys, is due in March with a girl. I immediately thought of you. They are fairly certain, but you know how IDing goes.
Oh, and she's actually upset about the girl. She wanted a third boy.
Happy Blogaversary! I don't usually leave comments, but I read all your posts! Good luck on the last few weeks of your pregnancy.
