It took me half an hour and a bribe to get Mack into a costume. He refused to be the shark like Sean. I gave him 5 options that I had in 2T/3T size. A shark (new this year purchased for daycare party today) a lion (what Sean was last year to daycare), a dragon (what Sean was 2 years ago to daycare) a monkey (What Sean wore 2 years ago trick or treating) or a spider (what they both were but now using Sean's old size for handing out candies last year since they both were sick and we stayed in). ALL Old Navy on sale! Love Old Navy & now we have a dress up trunk!) Took a bribe of a new hotwheel car to get him in the lion costume, the one that Sean wore to daycare last year. Then I wanted pictures of them. Oy, what a morning. Why are kids sometimes impossible & stubborn? Sean tried to take the costume off as soon as we were done taking pictures, and it took some convincing to get him to wear it to daycare. Once they both saw their classmates dressed up, they were all into it.
Aren't they just the cutest?
I'm biased, I know.
This evening we had some friends over for fondu dinner (Chinese Bouillon) and we watched the Habs game, which we won against the Islanders. The kids were hyped up on sugar from their halloween treats from daycare. I made my first ever pumpkin pie tonight. It came out great. Had no idea Jamie hates pumpkin pie, and our guests aren't fans either. Oh well. More for me. I'll let the boys try it tomorrow and see if they like it or not. If not, I'm going to have to find someone to share it with me, as I will not allow myself to eat an entire pumpkin pie to myself. No way!

Awww they are soooo adorable! Don't you love it when they decide to be stubborn...my hubby always says they get it from me.
Cute outfits. My boys also liked the dress up box from time to time.
awww cute costumes!! The boys might like pumpkin pie, my girls do, I thought they never would (or maybe it's the whipped cream on top?? LOL) but they do eat the pie part too
I love the Old Navy costumes as well. We have several for dress up as well.
Awww! They look so sweet!
Cute! And this should tell you a lot about me- I didn't even know Old Navy DID costumes for kids :P.
I can't wear anything from Old Navy except their scarves, so I don't bother going in there. Their "plus" size is just not as plus as I am. Make me feel bad, so I skip it.
oh my gosh, i absolutely LOVE Sean's shark costume!!! well, at least you got them into their costumes and they were okay once they got to school. :) i'm not a fan of pumpkin pie either but i have a great recipe (which I'll try to email you) for a twist on a pumpkin pie!
I would help you eat the pumpkin pie. I look forward to it every year. My husband's favorite is pumpkin apple pie.

Bribing w/ hotwheels will work for a few more years! LOL! I haven't had any pumpkin pie yet but yesterday I ate a pumping muffin and pumpkin soup at my workplace. Now, I want pie though. ;)
Your boys are the cutest !!! It will be funny next year with the third one :)
Happy Halloween Robyn

So cute. Too funny that its all good once they see other kids, but a trial until then. I love the look on Mack's face in that last photo.
Glad they gave in and dressed up because they are absolutely adorable in those costumes!!!! :D
Your shark & your lion are too cute for words. Adorable!
Your boys are adorable, Robyn. And I LOVE pumpkin pie! I'm going to see if I can get some pumpkin puree from my Halloween pumpkin tonight.
