I'm about 41 posts away from 1,000 posts. I'll be holding a contest to honor that! One will be for a certain number commenter... I have to figure out what number that'll be (so keep commenting!) and the other winner, will be chosen by a game we'll be playing. I have it all worked out in my head, and I just need to put it down on paper. It'll be a scavenger hunt of sorts, so stay tuned....! I hope you'll want to play. I post once daily (who has time for more?) so, my 1,000 post will be on March 22nd, 2008. (What's really cool, is that you can calculate any amount of days in Microsoft Exel by using this formula: =NOW()+41 How cool is that? I just learned that in google! March 22nd happens to be my best-friend-since-kindergarten's birthday, and also my mother-in-law (Jamie's real mom)'s birthday. How fun is that? If you want to find out what like 41 days ago is, you use the same formula and just put a - (minus) instead of a plus (+) sign! Hope you just learned something new as well!


There is a contest going on over at Emily's Blog. It's for her pattern she designed for Charity. The socks are gorgeous. So, I'm here to tell you about it - and hopefully you'll go out and purchase the gorgeous pattern & knit some socks! That pattern is on my list of patterns to get - so I'll be hopefully knitting them sometime in the near future.

We sat on the couch pretty much all afternoon. Watched some TV, and also the movie Gone Baby Gone. The movie was just okay, and but worth watching. It's with Casey Affleck, Ed Harris, Morgan Freeman, among others. I got some knitting done on Sean's blankie projects, for a total of 3 new squares in the last few days. Because I'm using US0 needles and casting on 51 sts, it's taking me about 2 hours per square. So I get a bit done here and there. Progress photos to come. Nothing much else exciting going on around here, I've gotten my wish of a relaxing day on the couch (besides getting some laundry done & the dishwasher going as well).

In shop news, all Cascade 220 is all 20% off until the end of February! I've also listed Stretchy Circulars in many different lengths. (The 10" sock ones are re-ordered - coming soon!) Also, give me another day, I've got some awesome new stitch markers to be listed in the shop, handmade by yours truly! I have been working on them in my spare time (when Sean lets me have a moment to breathe!) and I can't wait to show you what I've come up with. But that will be for tomorrow my friends.
