february two: 57 weeks old

Yesterday I was violently ill. I think it was just a 24 hour bug. I woke up today still not 100%, but a lot better than yesterday. Yesterday was just brutal. I've not felt like this in years. I couldn't keep food down yesterday, and all I ate was about 1/4 of a piece of toast. It just wasn't staying down. I didn't care for me not eating, but I was concerned about the baby. Actually I was a little nervous in the last 24 hours, I am pretty sure that I didn't feel the baby move for what seemed like ever. But this evening, I've been feeling him a bit, (not as much as usual, he's usual active as of recently), and I've been feeling him move for the last 2-3 weeks on a daily basis. Anyhow, I'm feeling better now that I've felt him, maybe he was just resting or being lazy. Anyhow, thank you all for your kind wishes - I'm doing a lot better today. Hopefully by tomorrow, I'll be back to normal. Yesterday I didn't feel like watching TV or knitting, or being near the computer. But today, I've been sitting on the couch, watching TV, and knitting. I've banged off another square or two on the blankie. I'll photograph the progress asap - I promise. I was going to do it yesterday, I just didn't have the energy to do so - and barely left the couch. I'm at square number 48 of 83. Getting there.... slowly. I wish I had more time in the day to knit! Not even sure how I get any time to knit these days! Not with a very active 13 month old!

Sean as of yesterday, turned 57 weeks old. I was in no shape to take photos last night, so I took them today. Ah, my growing boy. Sean will be approximetely 76 weeks old when his brother comes into this world. I really hope by then he'll understand what is going on. He doesn't understand that there is a baby in my belly - though we do tell him everyday. We're working on teaching him how to give kisses.

This morning we had my friend Debra's son's 1st birthday party around the corner from my house. It was really cute. I wasn't feeling 100% but for Sean, I didn't want him to miss the party. There were a lot of kids from the classes he takes, and they even had some music (a woman & her guitar) and it was a lot of fun. I think we were the first guest to leave, but Sean needed his bottle & a nap, and I wanted to get back into my pj's and sit on the couch. (Above is Sean at the party).

I soooo want these bubbles. Well, the bubble blower, called Bubble Ooodles. Ohhh! I think there may be a Gymboree in Toronto, I believe Sean got a gift from someone in Toronto before he was born, and I'm pretty sure it was Gymboree. However, I do not think there are any in Montreal, and I'd love to get him some bubbles. This set from Gymboree is awesome. His teacher at class uses it twice a week. He loves the bubbles. Also - today at the birthday party, the girl doing music was using bubbles as well, with a wand just like this. It blows 5 bubbles at a time, and it's just awesome. Though, if I ever get to the states, I'll have to pick up a refill too - so we never run out of bubbles. Too bad shipping to Canada costs more than the set, as they ship via the USA only, even though there are stores in Canada. I just checked online. Some in Ontario as well as in British Columbia. Maybe it's time to take a trip to Ottawa! There is more than one store in Ottawa I want to go to... I'll see if my mother is up for a road trip later on this month.

Jamie & I wached the movie The Bucket List tonight. I thought it was really good. Jamie fell asleep. I really like Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. They are both really good actors. Not a movie I'd watch again, but definitely worth watching once.
