This morning Amy & my mother took Sean to the beach, so I took Mack for a walk. We walked for a long time, I paused for a bit to use my computer at the picnic benches by the clubhouse, and then continued to walk until they got back from the beach. It was nice hanging out with Mack alone.

How you can resist this smile?

Sean & my mom at the beach. I got to see what went on while I wasn’t there from Amy’s photos.

seashells

Sean’s sea shells.

When we got back, we hung around the condo for a while. Everyone had something to do, so we just chilled and watched some tv, I worked on some squares for my babette. Almost anything entertains Mack, and he spent quite a while trying on and walking in my mom’s shoes.

When we finally left the condo, I asked to stop by the Deerfield Beach tower (not sure what else to call it?). I wanted to take a picture near it, with a copy of Simply Knitting. I want to send it in to their “Knitting Around the World” Column, to see if I can get in. Cheesy, I know. If I can get in, I can win a knitting kit that they give out. Not sure what it entails, but I’ll try. No harm in trying.

We went to Target. Ahh, now I’ve been fulfilled on this trip. I’ve gotten my Olive Garden fix, my Ruby Tuesdays fix, my Michael’s fix and now finally my Target fix. These are 2 restaurants & 2 stores I wish we had in Quebec, or even Canada. The rest of Canada (in some provinces) have Michaels, but that’s about it. On the last day of our trip (tomorrow is travel day, so it’s not counted as a day in my opinion), I finally found a size 3 bathing suit at a decent price for Sean. They didn’t have 2 matching sets, or I would have bought him a 2nd set. For now I’ll deal with just one set in his size. This entire trip he’s used his old 24 month size swim suit, which he still kind of fits into. I’ll keep looking at home in late Spring when it’s finally “Swim suit” time, when the new collection comes out. I picked up a few other things that I needed from Target.

targetsleep

Mack took a nap while in Target.

The poor guy’s naps have not been regular since we left from home.
I am hoping his naps go back to normal once we’re back home.

Sean is 160 weeks old today.
Tonight we went to Nestor’s for dinner.
It’s a kosher deli restaurant.
It was really good.

mackcolor

The kids got to color their place mats for a free lollipop if the handed it in to the waiter. Sean enjoyed his lollipop in the car on the way back to the condo.

After dinner we came back to my grandmother’s condo to organize our suitcases to leave. We have to have the rental car back to the airport for a certain time, so we have to get up at a decent time. Thankfully we do not have to get up at 3:30 am like we had to when we left for this trip. I don’t think I’ll ever leave on a flight that early with the kids ever again. It’s not fun at that hour.

Mack sleeping in the cart is adorable!!

I also love the photo of the hands with the shells. I need to learn how to make the back fuzzy and only part in focus, I love that look in photos.

The cowl is really cute. Sean's picture seems to be off screen on my computer. Love those Mack pictures.
