Sean is 184 weeks old today.

After school today, and once we were done dinner, I took the kids to the park across the street from our house. We stayed until it really got too windy. They're calling for thundershowers.

Sean is my silly goofball. Jamie had baseball this evening, and I was alone with both boys. Even though they gave me a challenge tonight, I managed to get them bathed and into bed in decent amount of time. Pat on the back. I usually don’t give them a bath by myself, and it’s already starting to get harder and harder to bathe the boys anyhow, my belly is starting to get in the way.

While the boys played, I started to work on Bekah’s Cap Sleeve Springs Shirt. We have a birthday party in August for my friend’s daughter. She’s turning 1. Though, the smallest size in the pattern says 3T-5T, she’ll grow into it. I hate knitting stuff for “now” that a child might grow out of. I do plan to knit one for Zoe as well. Apparently I can get away with 1 skein of Cascade 220. I’ll let you know if that is the truth or not.

Oy. I just want to eat him up.

I am starting a new book tonight before bed. It’s called Suddenly Frugal by Leah Ingram. A book on how to live happier & healthier for less. I don’t discuss finances online,so I am not going to state where we stand financially or how much we make. With a third child on the way, I would like to make sure that we have savings, as well as college savings for all three kids, and if I can learn how to live on less, by all means, I’m definitely open to that. Someone recommended me this book, so I thought I’d check it out. I know a lot of people that live pay check to pay check and there is no way I’d be able to live that way. I know some people don’t have a choice. I think that would give me anxiety. And with the recession behind us, I’m hoping that we don’t ever fall into another recession our lifetime. Have any of you read this book? Have any similar books to recommend? I’m doing very good with my De-cluttering as well. Day 2’s progress is here. Speaking of progress, I have my first item for sale. I’m selling a Heart-to-Heart Baby sling. I paid 60$ for it, and I’m selling it for 30$. It’s navy blue with tiny white dots on it. It’s for an average sized mom, though it is adjustable. Let me know if you’re interested. I posted about it on facebook too. If I don’t hear from anyone in a few days, I’m going to list it on Craigslist. I thought I’d offer you guys first. It’s a great sling for nursing, as well as wearing your baby. I have numerous slings, so I’ve decided to sell some of them. (There is absolutely nothing wrong with it at all and it’s in excellent condition).

I'm a firm believer in living BELOW your means if at all possible. We've managed to live debt-free for a few years now and I can't imagine going back to the way it was. I hate paying interest!

I need to learn to save more. I don't live pay-cheque to pay-cheque by any means, but I still wind up not actually SAVING anything. Maybe I'll add this book to my reading list as well! (I'll get it at the library so I can save money, lol).

Let me know how you like that book. I'm trying to be more frugal also now that we got the house and more expenses coming up.

i'll have to add that book to my amazon wishlist! sounds helpful. with the move, i've had to declutter without a choice and have given a lot of stuff away but there's still stuff! I've got a pile of stuff I need to sell too. :P
