april five :: 118 weeks old

Sean is 118 weeks old today.

He likes to be Mr. Cool Dude. "Cool" is actually his new word.
And it's super funny coming out of his mouth too.

My in-laws stopped by today on their way home from somewhere and I had my step-mother-in-law try on her vest. Though, it was a little bit hard for her to try it on, as I have the complete bottom on 29" circulars for the bottom band (3 inches). I've done about 1 inch of the bottom band, so it's coming along. I want to try to get it to her by Thursday, when we see her at Passover dinner. If not, we'll be seeing them again on Saturday for Easter. We'll see how much I can get done this week, and then there is all the ends to weave in... I am super happy it's almost done though, so she can have it already!

My parents took both kids for supper tonight, which allowed me to do some groceries and some work at home. Though, I've spent most of the afternoon trying to do work, but after putting Sean for his nap around 2-something in the afternoon, it took until almost 4pm for him to actually fall asleep (it was horrible!) I hope that he's not going to start fighting his naps every weekend, I won't be able to deal with this. He naps perfectly all week at daycare, why is he fighting them at home? And yesterday he napped. So why not today? Argh! Kids!

Off to go run on the treadmill for a bit, and then maybe crawl into bed and knit for a bit. (If I don't fall asleep!)

good work on the vest, keep it up. You are doing a great job. I am very proud of you, I didn't start anything for my in-law yet.
(I feel a bit guilty now..)

My 2 yo won't nap sometimes too, and I just don't get it. Doesn't he understand mama needs her quiet time.

Did she look happy with the vest, at least? There's nothing worse than seeing that the recipient is only so-so on a project that isn't even finished yet!
