07.14.10

Sean had 2 accidents last night while I was out at the show. He was a bit too busy doing whatever it was he was doing, and only realized after he went, that he did. That's okay. We’ve only just begun. Plus, accidents happen. Today again, Sean didn’t have a single accident in daycare. I am so proud of him. However, tonight he had 2 more accidents (while I was out). I honestly think he’s doing very well for something new to him.

While the boys were at school today, I had my pre-natal yoga class in the morning. Again, it was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep during it. After lunch, I got inspired to sew some shorts or Sean. I had him try them on when he got home today, but they were a little too small to pull up over his hips/bum. So I will have to try again, tomorrow, a little larger. I am not sure if they are too big for Mack, as he wouldn’t try them on tonight. I’ll have to put him in them tomorrow and have him model them then. Hopefully tomorrow he’ll let me put them on him. When I asked him tonight to try them on, he told me he was already wearing shorts. Funny boy. I’ll link you tomorrow how I did them, when I show you them, hopefully on Mack. They were quick and easy and only took me about 30 minutes total.

Tonight I went out with some friends knitting. I have been making some great progress on Bekah’s Girl Cap Sleeved Spring Shirt. It’s coming along very nicely. I’m just not sure how long to make it, as the pattern just reads “knit to length” for the body. It looks a little small to be a size 3T-5T, but maybe I’m wrong. I’ll try it on Sean for sizing (in privacy of course cuz it’s a girl’s top, shhh), and if not, on Mack. It’s for my friend’s daughter’s 1st birthday (I wonder if she still reads my blog? If she does, this won't be a surprise anymore, whoops! Hi Lauren?!). Either her daughter will grow into it, or it'll be small enough to fit her now. I guess we'll have to see when I’m done.

Day 4’s progress of my current de-clutter challenge is here. Do far so good. I think I am going to tackle the junk drawer next. I know we all have those. Maybe when I am done it won’t be a junk drawer anymore. Then what do I call it?

It’s getting late, and I want to go read a bit more in the book I’m currently reading. It’s very inspiring to be more economical and watch how I am spending my money.

I love the colour of your girly shirt! Looking forward to seeing what you made for Sean/Mack :) I may be jumping on the sewing train as well fairly soon!

Guess I should read oldest post to newest post and then I'll have all the info before I comment.

Weird how that purple yarn photographs different in each picture. When I was kniting the sun dress I found it did it too.

I want to try hot yoga, i heard it is very good for the mind and body!
