january nine

This morning we slept in a bit, and lounged around the house.

Mack got stuck in the bumbo.
I must put that away in storage so he doesn't get stuck again.

(For those of you who don't know, the Bumbo is a chair for babies who can support their own head but can't sit on their own yet). And Mack shouldn't be fitting into it at all. He does have a skinny tush, but he did indeed get stuck.

We played with toys.

We dressed up and pretended we were NHL players. Sean made me wear my bicycle helmet.

This afternoon I survived Costco with the family. We did our shopping (you know, the usual... apple juice for my little fish who drink a lot, snacks, a case of diet coke for me, the diet coke addict, and some meat for my next meat sauce batch, which I need to do at some point this week, hopefully if my week goes as planned, I plan to cook on Wednesday).

Last night I realized that I was way behind on Season 6 of Nip/Tuck, one of my fave shows. I had no idea the new season even started, 11 episodes ago. I only realized last night when flipped through channels and came across it, and I hadn't seen that episode before... so I looked it up online, and what do you know... an entire new season. I was like "something to watch!" I've been catching up on stuff I really didn't care for on my PVR, because I had nothing to watch. So I downloaded the torrents for the show, and have been catching up. I'll be up-to-date before I know it. My fave line from one of the episodes I watched this evening after returning from the Habs game (which I will talk about below) is:

"Think about it, If Barbie & Ken had been able to have sex, do you really think their marriage would have lasted 50 years?" - Season 6, Epsiode 8 Nip/Tuck

What's your opinion on this quote.

Talk amongst yourselves.

Tonight Jamie & I went to the Habs vs. Devils game.
We lost, in overtime.
What else is new.

Tonight I worked on some squares for Babette at the game.

I was able to get one done per period.

I wasn't in the mood to start a new knitting project to work on at the game, and both Mara & Zachary's Blanket are way too huge to bring with, so this is what I decided to work on tonight. I'm quite happy with the results of this blanket so far.

i'm immensely behind with this season's nip/tuck also. i figure i'll just wait til it's on dvd or something..or we move. i don't know how i feel about that quote. i'm sure barbie and ken would be able to have as much plastic surgery as possible so why wouldn't they stay together?? lol.
