Pattern: 5 hour Baby Sweater
For: To Be Decided
Yarn: 1.5 skeins of Mirasol Hacho in Sapphire Jade
Needles: US 10½ - 6.5 mm
Size: 0-3 month size
Timeline: May 3 – 9, 2010 (I didn’t work on it consecutively)
Modifications: Knit pattern as written,
but added 8 rows before the garter bottom of the sweater.
Opinion: I love it.
Very well planned out pattern and I love that it’s knit in one piece & seamed as you go.
This pattern also is a great stash buster.
Used only about 205.5 yards (187.9 meters) of yarn.
(Just about 75g of yarn).

You see, now that I added 8 rows, the sleeves are 8 rows shorter than the garter bottom. The garter bottom is also 8 rows. If I hadn’t added those in, the sleeves would have been the exact same length as the sweater and that is not proportionate to a baby. If you’re going to knit this sweater, that’s my suggestion.

Today for lunch we had Jamie’s side of the family over. My sister-in-law was in town with her boyfriend, her son & 2 of his kids. The kids had a great time playing. All my in-laws came for lunch. In the picture above, is my hubby’s mom & her wife. We rarely get to see them, so it was nice that they were able to come over and celebrate Mother’s Day with us.

Then for dinner we went to my parents house, and celebrated again with my family.
My sister took a picture of all the moms that were there tonight, which was nice.

I love my boys.
Happy Mother’s Day!

My mom got me the coolest gift while she was in the Bahamas last week.
It’s a camera made out of coke cans! Ain’t that awesome?

It even has a little happy face that pops out (there is a lever on the back)
I just love it. It’s totally a “Me” gift. It’s going right on my desk at home.

Love the camera. Very cute.

(I'm going to be perfectly honest and say that I've read most the other posts I've missed but I don't think I'm going to manage to comment on everything. Sorry!!)
