August 3 of 31

Changing Sean's diaper is quite the task lately. He's a little ninja - as we've dubbed him. He starts off on his back, as we place him on the changing table.

Then he starts flipping himself over. ALWAYS towards the wall. (Never towards the outside)

In the end, he ends up on his stomach, trying to crawl around on the changing pad. Our little ninja. He's on the move.

Tonight while in the bath, Sean turned himself around, pulled himself onto his knees, grabbed out onto the ledge of the bathtub, and pulled himself up. I couldn't believe it! He's pulling himself up. Unreal!

Today was unbearable. It was tooo f-ing hot. I didn't want to get anything done in the house, so I left. I took Sean with me for my eyebrow wax, and then we went to walk around a little shopping center near my house. I had a few things to pick up, and I had to make keys for the apartment upstairs. The kids are moving in between the 24th and the 26th, so I had to get those all done. Trying to check things off my to-do list.

Anyhow, this evening my in-laws came over for dinner and Jamie and them as well as a few others played poker. I've been working on my "secret" project all evening, and it should be ready to go tomorrow. It's looking great! I'm very excited about it, and it's been my little project for a while now, and it's finally coming to life.

The book I'm currently reading (still with this little light - which I love), is a little weird. I am totally giving it to my sister to read after me, because it's the type of book she'd love. It's about a girl in Canada who is into drugs and the bad crowd, and partying and sex. It's a little hard for me to follow, it's just really oddly written. But I know my sister will love it, so I'm passing it onto her next. It's Torn Skirt by Rebecca Godfrey. The book is just really hard to describe as well. The mother is in the USA, which the father took the daughter from Oregan and fled to Victoria, British Columbia, and the father leaves the daughter alone to go work up in the forest or something, and she has 12 days until high school graduation, but it's her adventures of skipping school or something. I don't know what possessed me to read this book, but something was calling my name. It's under 200 pages, so at least it's a fast read. I'm half-way through it about. I know which book I want to read next, it just arrived in the mail yesterday. I have a few books now that I want to read before I get into the Harry Potter series. I need to be "ready" to read them. I'm not ready yet. I want to be able to concentrate on them. I'm not there yet.

Tomorrow Jamie is helping a friend move some furniture, so this friend said he'd help Jamie move the fridge, stove, (old) washer & dryer upstairs into the apartment. The kids are renting it with all the appliances. My new washer & dryer will be installed tomorrow, I'm so excited! I better go and make sure the load of laundry I was doing is out of the washing machine and into the dryer, so it's dryed before morning!
