Wool Gathering @ Roxham Farm Celebrates 15 Years

Roxham Wool Gathering Roxham Farm, Roxham Road, St.Bernard, de Lacolle, Quebec

The Roxham Wool Gathering is a great weekend in our lovely Townships that brings over 40 local artisans and home made food vendors together to celebrate it’s 15th year with Old Traditions as their theme!

From unique handmade jewelry, funky woolens, hand-dyed wool, dolls and beautiful quilts, throws and cushions to organic body products, baskets, photos, cards and paintings, it’s impossible not to pick up early Christmas gifts, a decoration for the home or simply an original treat for yourself!

And you won't have to shop on an empty stomach! Enjoy delicious homemade sausages, sushi, vegetarian treats, home-baked pies and cakes all washed down with a glass of local ice cider or apple juice or a cup of Montreal's finest coffee.

All artisans will be housed undercover in the various sheds and barns.

There will be demonstrations throughout the weekend including sheep shearing, ironworking, spinning and bread-making in an outdoor clay oven. The 150 year-old farm with its free roaming sheep, horse, pony, calves, pigs and ducks is the perfect backdrop to this year's festival that takes us back in time.

Rain or Shine: 15th & 16th September, 10am-4pm each day
Roxham Farm: 332 Roxham Road, St.Bernard-de-Lacolle

Oh I think I want to go! I have a lot of things planned in September so I have to check to make sure that particular Saturday is free though.

I'll come with you! I love events like this.

I'm going to Toronto on Monday, so I won't be at knitting this week (again!), but see you at the next one.
