april twenty-five :: 69 weeks

*** Warning. Woolgirl First Installment Spoiler at end of post. Though, I'm probably the last to get it, being "foreign" and all.... but just thought I'd give you a spoiler warning... in case you are still waiting on your kit. End of Warning. ***

Sean is 69 weeks old today. 69. Yeah, I think only I get a kick out of that number. LOL. Monday, he turns 16 months old, so I will prepare the list of words he now says, and all that jazz from "What to Expect The Toddler Years" for Monday when he turns 16 months old. My baby is almost 16 months old. How did that happen? The next "big" point is 18 months, which he will get to soon enough (just around the time his brother will be born actually!) He turns 18 months old on June 28th, his brother's due date is technically just over a week later on July 7th, but my doc doesn't think I'll go to 40 weeks so, he'll be just about 18 months when his brother is born. Wow... 18 months exactly apart, exactly what we planned. I'm going to have my hands full, I know it. But I'm prepared for my life to change. Taking advantage of every moment alone right now, and every moment just with "mommy & Sean" time. I still don't think Sean realizes that he has a brother coming in about 2 months.

I received a lovely parcel in the mail today, from the Woolgirl Sock Club. I think I'm one of the last to receive it - being an International member. I got this beautiful skein of Mama Llama yarn (which was on my list of yarns I've wanted to try/acquire for my stash!) I love the skein and the note cards and the Woolgirl Pen, and all the goodies that came in my package! I can't wait to see what's in the next installment!

It took me over 2 hours to try and convince Sean to take a nap today. He just wasn't having it. He finally fell asleep around 3:30pm, though I wish he'd gone to nap around 1:30pm, when I wanted to take a nap. So I let him terrorize my bedroom, while I closed my eyes. Yeah, I only napped with one eye shut, the kid is a menace! Pulled things out of drawers, off of shelves, etc. He had no interest in napping with me, (though I tried) and no interested in Nickelodeon Jr. or the Disney Channel. There was lots of shows he likes on, and he didn't care less. It was one of those days.

So, now, I'm zonked. Beat. Totally out of it. So much, that since Sean is rubbing his eyes, I think I'm going to go hit the sack, and join him. I made a ton of cute stitch markers for the shop today and yesterday, I think I'm going to put them in the shop over the weekend if I get the chance. Little braided balls - they're so cute! Trust me.

A reminder that the May Sock Club is only on sale until Wednesday. Yarn by Jennifer of Vancalcar Acres Sheep Farm & pattern by Adrienne. Get it while it's available!
