Things have been getting on a "schedule" here lately. Sean's been napping daily and going to bed on time and awake. (Mack though still seems to sometimes have his nights & days mixed up, but he'll adjust - he's still waking up every 3-4 hours to eat).
There are NO more cries during bath time for Mack. Those days are over. He enjoys being in the water now. I can't wait for him to be able to sit up in the bath, as soon as he can he will get the duck tub and he'll be able to play with toys! We're not there yet though. Maybe a few months (around 5-6 months of age is when Sean starting sitting up on his own, so we transferred him from this newborn tub to the duck tub). Looking up the Bath tub to link it for you, I discovered this Bath Shower Sprayer. I wish Amazon.com shipped to Canada. That would be perfect for our tub for the boy's bath time. I'm going to look around the see if I can find something similar locally. It's by Sassy, so I don't see why I can't find something like it.
Even though he now likes baths, Mack wasn't too happy to be out of the tub afterwards. I love his little pouty face.
Did you see the forecast for my area for the next 5 days? Thundershowers/Showers. Thursday through Tuesday. I don't get this summer, it's been raining non-stop. It's really too bad. We were planning to go to Parc Safari on Friday, but it looks like it's just going to rain... and I'm not taking the chance. Oh well, maybe we'll get to go at some point before the summer is over. If not, no big deal.
I've been hammering away at the Thank You cards for Mack's Brit Milah (Bris). They're almost done, and then I'll pop them in the mail by the weekend. I finally decided what I wanted to do for the actual card, so that was one of the things that was holding me back. I didn't want to buy a generic card from any shop, but wanted personalized ones. So I commissioned a good friend's talent (once I send out the cards I'll show you how cute they are and link my friend who designed it) and then printed them myself the other day. I'm loving them, and can't wait to get them out in the mail to family & friends who were super sweet and spoiled Mack (and Sean too!)
Tomorrow the West Island Gazette comes out (it's weekly on Thursdays) and I will see if any of my photographs won picture of the week! I'm excited! Tomorrow, the new edition of Vogue Knitting comes out - I've been waiting for the next edition and will be stopping while out tomorrow to pick it up!
Tonight we had family dinner for my parents 29th wedding anniversary (which was yesterday). I love getting together with my family, it's always so much fun. Plus I enjoy a good BBQ meal, the one thing about summer I do like. (Not a fan of the heat, that's on the cons list for summer!) I will need to come up with a good plan, next summer is their 30th wedding anniversary. Anyone have any suggestions? This year was just a quiet family dinner.
I've listed both the September & October Sock Club kits in my shop. September only has 13 spots left and October's is just opened. September's hand dyer is Katie who does Lovesticks and October's is by Ann-Marie who is here on Etsy.

Oh my gosh, I totally love Mack's pouty face!! Adorable and hysterical!
Love the close-up of Sean's face! EE..so cute. Oh and Mack's pout is awesome too.
Sean's smile and Mack's pout - night and day. Love them both! There's got to be some kind of motivational poster in those two pics.
I have some local info for you at work on that bathtub sprayer...there's a store in Laval and somewhere else that sells them...I'll get the name for you tomorrow!
totally adorable pics!!
i hear good things about the duck tub from a friend of mine - guess i'll have to get one when my little one starts sitting up.
OMG! I LOVE pouty face!!!! xox
Good to hear Sean is sleeping better. My 2 YO has been throwing a fit at bedtime the last week or two. We gave him a night light cause he said it was dark, but still wants to cry. Oh well the joys of toddlerhood. Mack's little pouty face is sooooo cute.
Wow! Sean's getting to be such a big boy. Glad to hear things are coming together a little bit for you. Rowan's been getting a better sleep schedule here too which is nice. Still not much knitting/blogging here though, hopeuflly soon because I'm missing it.
Amazon.com doesn't ship to Canada? Since when? I've ordered stuff from them for work before...
I picked up the Vogue Knitting yesterday and love it. Your boys are so sweet.
