The beautiful Bea, whom I’m getting the chance to meet this spring (I’m WICKED excited about that let me tell you!), has given me an award on her blog. Thank you hun! What a pretty award!
To accept this award, here are the rules:
1. Thank the person who gave you the award.
2. Paste the award on your blog.
3. Link to the person who nominated you.
4. Tell 7 interesting things about yourself (see below)
5. Nominate 7 blogs and post links
6. Leave a comment on your nominated blogs to let them know
7 Interesting facts about myself:
1. I have 3 tattoos.
2. I do not like balloons, I’m afraid they’ll pop (had a balloon pop in my face as a child and have been scared since).
3. I had one natural birth with Sean & one C-section (emergency) with Mackenzie. Even though the healing is a lot longer with surgery, I honestly think I prefer the C-section route.
4. I love mint. Mint tea, mint chocolate, mint gum, mint candies.
5. I like only green peppers on my whole wheat cheese pizza.
6. Speaking of whole wheat, I prefer to eat only whole wheat flour/bread/pasta…
7. I have my tragus pierced since 2002. I got it done in Kelowna, B.C. on a trip visiting a friend.
In no particular order, I nominate Cynthia, Tara, Rhoda, Andrea, Nadine, Elizabeth, & Carol. These ladies inspire me in knitting & photography. Keep up the good blogging ladies!

Aww! Thank you Robyn!!! You're so sweet!!
congrats on the award and thank you for bestowing one upon me too! :) i didn't know you had your tragus pierced!
You are TOO sweet!! Merci beaucoup! On a side note, I too had one of each birth methods, and I make no secret about enjoying the c-secion the most. :) It was nice to just lie there and do no work. I'm super lazy!
I'm not much a fan of gum. I get tired of chewing it after just a couple of minutes. I never really got the appeal, but so many people love it I wonder what I'm missing. I had to look up what a tragus was by the way...
That's cool u got nominated. I already knew those facts about you :-)
Thank you for giving Balkan Style a Beautiful Blogger award! We very humbly (and excitedly) accept! You sure are a sweetheart, Robyn.
Thank you! I can't wait to check out your other links - I love discovering new-to-me blogs!
I'm going to have to look up tragus in the dictionary...I'm so out of it!
Okay, you're hard core! My daughter has her tragus pierced too and she almost passed out from the pain! The piercer told her that it is the most painful thing to have pierced.
