This morning my mom came with to our swimming class so she can watch & take some pictures. I am waiting for my mom's pictures (She took more pictures on her camera than on mine - as she knows how to work her camera better than mine). Here is a picture of Sean & I working on blowing bubbles. He likes the outcome - but is not sure yet on how to do them. I give it a couple of weeks and he'll be blowing bubbles in the water like a pro!
After swimming we ran a couple of errands, had lunch, dropped off a few things at a few places and then I had my OB appointment. Everything checks out okay, and honestly, it wasn't that exciting of an appointment, I wish I could have done without it. My next appointment is on Valentine's Day. I'll be around 22 and a half weeks around then.
The rest of the afternoon was filled with more errands, returns, and exchanges. Not really too exciting however Sean was really excited to get out of the car seat at the end of the day, let me tell you! I also realized that transferring Sean's car seat from my car to my mother's car is a larger pain in the arse than I already knew it would be.
Last night was brutal again. Sean's waking up after about sleeping about 5-6 hours in the middle of the night and SCREAMING or rather SCREECHING to be taken out. I don't know what to do anymore, and we're losing sleep he's not sleeping/and sleeping in our bed. HELP!
I'm almost 20 Chapters into the book I'm reading - I'm super glad I'm making time to read!
Oh! I got a call from the office where his "old" doctor is - the one who is taking an extended maternity leave... and another doctor is willing to take him on until she comes back. So we are re-doing his 12 month check-up on Monday. I hope to get him the rest of his shots. That's the plan. Get him weighed properly and measured as well. And I have questions. Questions that I hope won't get brushed off and unanswered. I'll let you know how it goes! Phew! She is not a pediatrician, but she's a family doctor who sees children too - just like his old doctor (on maternity leave) did.

Good news about the doctor, we are house hunting here since that gaurantees that a job will appear in Canada(Murphy's Law)and the market is pretty steady here, not too expensive compared to other cities.
That is great that you will be on your 1000th post!! That is exciting!! Cant wait to see what you come up with!!
try cutting back on how long he naps. i had t his problem with my eldest (she's 23, now, lol), and cutting the nap short worked. maybe it's time to eliminate the morning nap? it's a thought, anyway.
good luck! (i've had 4 (youngest is now 13) and it's not easy to listen to them scream, i know)
1000 POSTS??? Wow, I'm just barely getting to 100. I wonder every day what I'll think of to post tomorrow, and you've done it 1000 TIMES--I can't even imagine... Congrats! :)
My oldest son has never been a great sleeper. I don't know how many times we had to just let him cry it out. I know how hard it is to hear them cry although it didn't seem to bother my hubby at all. My second son is such a good sleeper thank God. Here's to hoping your second baby will be too. Hang in there it does get better.
I'm glad that the pediatrician thing worked out. We HATE ours so I know how you felt with that "other doctor". In fact Rhiannon hasn't seen a pediatrician since her 2 year check up and we just take her to our GP. No one here is taking new patients so that is just how it is.
Congrats on the posts!
I don't have any advice about the sleeping issue. I think its awesome that you have your mom around to help record moments like swimming that you can't!
Glad that you found another doctor. That's a cute picture of you and Sean
i'm so glad to hear that you've hopefully found a better doctor to deal with rather than that one you went to see last time. i can't wait to see more pics of you and sean in the pool. he'll totally get the blowing bubbles thing if you show him enough times!
That's a great shot of you and Sean in the water!
