Cotton candy! My dad bought a cotton candy machine, so we had some after dinner tonight.
I finished the Skull Hat. I ended up ripping back and adding a few more rows before starting the decreases, scared that it wouldn't fit my nephew's head. The first time I finished it, it just just just fit Sean's head, an almost 2 year old head. I'm not sure what size my nephew's head is, but I'm sure that it's larger than Sean's head. I just need to graf the remaining 8 stitches shut when I located my Chibi with my darning needles in it.
I received last week this skein of Chicks With Sticks Big Lace in Turquoise Splendor. I love it and cannot wait to find the perfect pattern for the 1000 yards of lace that I have here.
To those wondering about my stash contest, it's still on going. I am still working on uploading my stash. It's getting there, but it's proven to be a huge job (especially with 2 kids who want to touch yarn! Well, okay, only one right now has interest in it!)
I'm still eying Waffles and I somehow hope that the PDF will somehow land up in my email inbox.
Not sure who I am voting for tomorrow, but it's the Canadian Elections. Are you voting?

Yay elections! Vote early and vote often - that's my mantra. I'm partial to Harper.
Yep, I voted this morning! I'm covering the election tonight too for work (I'll be at Justin Trudeau's HQ).
That is an adorable picture of Mack, you can see the intelligence spackling in those eyes! The cap turned out great, I'm sure it'll be a big hit. Bet you'll get requests from all his friends when they see it.
Hi Mr Mack! I really like the skull cap.
Where did your dad find a cotton candy machine? I haven't had that in ages...mmmmm, cotton candy!
The hat looks great. I hope it fits your nephew.
I voted this afternoon, after I came home from school. It was a good time to go since there were only 2-3 people ahead of us in the line. Figured if I went in the evening it would be packed with people who had to work during the day.
hard to see those earings!!
Yummy cotton candy
Nice skull hat! Came out good!!!!
What a cute picture of mack. Seeing his little face makes me smile.
The hat looks great! What did you end up doing about the lining?
Egads! I hope everyone knows I meant spaRkling, not spaCkling. Mack's beautiful eyes have nothing in common with a plaster wall.
Aaaw, look at that face! (I meant Mr Mack, of course).
Cotton Candy machine?!?!??! I have to get one!!!
That skull hat is awesome!!
your nephew's skull hat looks amazing! I'm sure he's going to love it. Hope it fits! wow, a cotton candy machine? nice!
