october four

This morning we played hooky from swimming lessons. I had a bad pain in my back, and needed to take a muscle relaxant. Plus, I just wanted to sleep in. Much needed.

I did some work this morning and then we headed off to Costco to pick up a few things (and of course forgot to get a few things that were on the list and bought things that weren't on the list).

This afternoon was a chill afternoon, all the boys napped, and I watched TV, worked on swap matches for the 2 swaps I'm hosting (only the pals for the Single Sock Swap have gone out in full, I will finish with the Fave Things Swap tomorrow).

Mack enjoyed some time in the exersaucer. We took it out last night, I gave it a wipe down and took the material seat off for a washing. So today, it was all good to go. He's still a little young (and small) for it, but he did have a good time in it for the time spent. And yes, he's wearing an Xmas bib.

Today's earrings.

Tonight, I cast on Boheme. I chose to do it in Louet Gems Sport in Morning Dove. It's for the baby shower that I have in Ottawa next Saturday. Yes, you heard me correct. NEXT SATURDAY. I'm insane, I know. But, I think I can do it. I know I can do it. And I've been knitting on it all evening while Jamie went out to play hockey tonight. I've caught up on the final episode of Season 1 of Chuck (fell asleep last night while watching it with Jamie) and have been watching Season 2 of October Road. I watched Season 1 (all 6 episodes) while it was on TV in early 2007. Then I forgot about it. Apparently it was dropped by the network it was running on, but that the CW may pick it up. It's a cute show, but what I want to know is who the father of Sam is...! I guess we'll never know unless CW does pick up the show...

Tomorrow, I'll show progress on Boheme. It's coming along great. I like it!

I'm going to knit a Boheme for June pretty soon too! I think it will look so cute with a turtleneck and jeans this fall and winter! I can't wait to see yours!

that's so funny you should mention "October Road" because for some reason I was thinking about that show yesterday! I didn't know that the CW might pick it up. I watched the first few episodes in the first season.
