july three

Today I hit my all time low on the nutritionist's scale, which is 154.6 lbs. This translates to 151.6 on my own scale at home (3 lbs discrepancy). I'm so happy and so impressed with myself, it's awesome. I want to still hit 145 lbs on my scale - which is 148 on their scale. I think I can do it. And I'm in no rush.

Today after Mackenzie's nap I ran some errands at the mall with my mom. My mom enjoys to shop. Sometimes I get annoyed at shopping, especially if one of the kids gets cranky and doesn't want to be in the stroller anymore, that type of thing. Though, walking around the mall is super good exercise.

Last night I had a Mocha Espresso at Starbucks. I'm not a coffee drinker, but was in the mood for something mocha flavored, so I tried it and loved it. Had it non-fat of course with no whip cream. I wanted another one today while we were in the mall, however, seeing the line up at the Starbucks there, I decided it wasn't that worth it. I couldn't believe the line up. At a coffee shop! Does nobody work anymore?

After dropping my mother off at home, I came home to pick up my bike. I decided to bike to pick up Sean from daycare today. Of course, I got caught in the rain on the way home. It wasn't raining hard, but I had to stop to pull down the plastic shield so the boys wouldn't get wet. I didnt want them to get sick.

Again, Sean was excellent at daycare today, listened well, and ate well, as well, napped well. And I thought him moving classes would be a complete disaster! I should have had some more faith in him! He's being such a good boy.

After Jamie got home from work, we picked some flowers from the garden in the front yard and made a bouquet. How nice is it??! We couldn't believe how nice it turned out, from stuff from our yard!

My in-laws came over tonight and we all went out for dinner to our fave pasta joint. They have whole wheat spaghetti on the menu, and I love their vongole sauce (seafood in a light tomato sauce). Mack certainly enjoyed his meal. The kid was FILTY with meat sauce after he was done. It's a darn good thing I remembered to make sure he wasn't wearing a WHITE shirt! Or light colored pants! I found pasta in his diaper when I changed him when we got home. Unbelievable! I can't wait for him to learn how to use a spoon & fork!

We waited for the pouring rain to stop before leaving the restaurant. And my in-laws wanted to barbecue tonight. Funny! It's a darn good thing we didn't!

After my in-laws left tonight, Jamie & I watched some Gene Simmons Family Jewels that we had recorded on our PVR (I love Gene!) and I worked on a design I'm currently doing.

Love the sauce face. My son eats spaghetti and still gets it on his face at the age of 8!

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen Mack so dirty. Toddlers eating can be very interesting.

You know, sometimes I wish we could just dive into our favourite dishes with such delight and abandon!
